Posted - 29 Mar 2006 : 19:24:34 Any chance of an update? It would seem there has been a bit of a site redesign over at DVDEmpire. All old scripts are completely broken now.
Thank you. |

Posted - 12 Apr 2006 : 12:12:55 Hi LordKiwi,
I will try to find the problem, but for 4.x you must use the MagicScript Editor 2 because are not compatible.
Bye!

Posted - 10 Apr 2006 : 12:16:07 Hi,
The V2 and V3 are not compatible because they "write" the HTML in different way.
The V2 write HTML in few txt lines, so all informations are in a single line often (you must work massively with #FIND#)
The V3 write HTML in much txt lines, so you must work massively with #FINDLINE# to find the line where informations are.
I hope you understand.
If you have DVDEMPIRE for 4.x ready I can upload it to server so XMM can download it automatically with ONLINE mode.
Thank you!

Posted - 10 Apr 2006 : 10:41:09 maybe, someone can post the new script here, so i dont have to install the new xmm 5.0, still satisfied with old version |

Posted - 10 Apr 2006 : 08:43:04 I started updating the the old 4 script when I noticed you did most of the changes I was had just made. lol. I should have checked it out before getting down to the plot section. I did start to fix a major problem in DVDEMPIRE but the Magicscript 3 editor did not work for me on either my XP32 or XP64 system, It would run untill the checkweb section and then stall. The scripts did run fully when importing but that was not a very effective way to test changes.
Shouldnt the v3 run with v2? if not I will finish updating the v2 script.

Posted - 31 Mar 2006 : 07:32:24 No, there are no problems, just change the folder of 4.8 so you will not lose any file.
I am really near to release the 5.0, just some bugs to fix

Posted - 30 Mar 2006 : 23:26:21 Thanks Alessio, think I will hold off until the next Alpha. Look forward to playing with it!
Last question, I promise. I noticed the install defaults to the same folder as 4.8. Is there any problem using both 4.8 and 5.0, as long as they are installed into different folders? Just want to make sure that once I install 5 that I don't loose 4.8.
Thanks again!
