Posted - 26 Jan 2012 : 14:31:18 Hi!
I am playing around with the trial as I am looking for a replacement for Antz Movie Collection and fell over an issue (or maybe just my fault in handling):
Scanning from HD works and then via F9 I tagged the movies using a chained function (OFDB & IMDB).
Some movies are now double (eg. when there are 2 avis in the same folder) -> by merging them I got rid of the duplicates.
BUT when I rescan the folder (eg. because there are 2 new movies there) then XMM recognizes the "merged" movies again. So I could merge again -> but after scanning they are here again. (After merging, the movie entrie doesnt contain BOTH videofiles... is this normal?)
What would be the correct way / best practice to handle such cases?
Any hints appreciated, Dude |

Posted - 26 Jan 2012 : 15:00:26 OK, I have found the Bug...I will fix in next release...
When you merge the two movies XMM forget the link to the file of the second movie, so when you resan your hard disk it found the movie again.
A partial workaround for now is that when you scan your hard disk and found one movie with two or more files you "JOIN" these files together in this window.

Posted - 26 Jan 2012 : 14:56:56 Thank you Dude,
I will take a look for possible bugs. XMM Should NOT Detect the movie as a "NEW" one.
I will let you know.
