Posted - 17 May 2011 : 16:11:50 You only have to rename all folders with identical basename of the .mdb... As example: MyDVDs.mdb -> MyDVDs_cover - MyDVDs_download - MyDVDs_photos - MyDVDs_thumbs - MySVDs_mediacenterdir Then you don't have to change anything more! |

Posted - 17 May 2011 : 16:04:45 As there is no rename function for database I create a new one and use Exchange Movies and rename the cover folder. Why Exchange Movies don't exchange covers ? Anyway it's wonderfull not to have to modify all 800 film cards one by one :-)) |

Posted - 17 May 2011 : 00:13:42 If you like you can delete everything after the mdb I did that with all the related folders as it was less confusing to me.
You're Welcome =) |

Posted - 16 May 2011 : 18:28:08 With a new try I reach ! With the third method: copy all the DVD.mdb[2011117-1328]_** folders in Dataases. Last problem rename the dataase ! (DVD.mdb[2011117-1328] is not a very short name)
Thank you again |

I try to copy DVD.mdb[2011117-1328].mdb from Backups to Databases folder and rename it DVD.md - no success - Then I try to copy DVD.mdb[2011117-1328].mdb, DVD.mdb[2011117-1328]_cover, DVD.mdb[2011117-1328]_download, DVD.mdb[2011117-1328]_mediacenterdir, DVD.mdb[2011117-1328]_photos and DVD.mdb[2011117-1328]_thumbs from Backups to Databases folder and rename it DVD.md, DVD_cover... - no success - Then I try the same but without renaming - still no success -
However pictures of covers are in DVD_cover (from 11-Blueberry.jpg to 811-Tribute.jpg) and films folders with covers in it are in DVD_mediacenterdir folder (from 2 secondes to Zoolander in alphabetical order) |

Posted - 16 May 2011 : 05:58:57 Yes, it should open all covers.
Do you have cover files in the "DVD_cover" folder, right?

Posted - 16 May 2011 : 00:14:51 Okay, let’s see if I’m following along correctly.
You opened your backup from the backup folder.
If you open that folder again in Windows and look you should see there aren’t any cover photo folders.
What you’ll need to do is copy that file over to the database folder.
Like mine looks like this.
D:\Program Files (x86)\eXtreme Movie Manager 7\Databases
DVD.mdb <-- DVD_Cover folder <-- DVD_download folder DVD_Mediacenterdir DVD_photos DVD_Thumbs
The database name and the cover folder match and need to be in the same directory.
Then use that copy of the database and it should open with the covers available. Let me know if that works.

Posted - 15 May 2011 : 21:16:33 Thank you KCWhiteKnight ut I tried to change layout without success :(
How can I restore databasename_cover folder ? I restored the database by opening a database in the Backups folder... I only say it is frustrating to have no covers and to see that the right covers for each film are in the film folder in mediacenterdir. There are also covers in the cover folder but how assign each cover to each film without doing this one y one ? |

Posted - 15 May 2011 : 19:25:59 Hello,
You must restore the databasename_cover folder in order to get back the covers, not the mediacenterdir.

Posted - 15 May 2011 : 18:14:03 I had the same problem, what I did was click on the config tab or the wrench at top of the movie card panel changed movie card layout to something else accepted and then changed it back and my covers were there. You might try that.
