This is not a critical or high priority issue but one I found that I think should be addressed at some point in the far future.

I found it when I selected a movie from the main grid, which then populated the HTML card "movie_bigcover.htm" with the correct information. I then selected one of the Actor's from the list of Actor's in the movie and his profile came up in the HTML card space, complete with filmology. I then selected from his filmology the movie from the list that I started with in the main grid. In the HTML card, the question(s) came up asking if I wanted to include that movie in the database even though it already was. I did not select any of the Add options since it was already there but the fact that it asked me was the part I felt was wrong. I can't ever see anyone actually doing what I did unless they have nothing else to do at night.

As I said above, I don't think this is an important issue that justifies an immediate fix but at sometime if mainteance is needed on that software, it might be worth a look at... or maybe not.

Right, Prinz!

Best example I have in my database: Twelve Rounds <-> 12 Rounds.
That would only be possible if all info are from the same site and even then you can have differences.
And what do you check? The title, the original title, an entry of the AKAs?
A quite "unsafe" routine that would match many times would be easily to implement - but never to 100%.

I would even say: It's almost impossible, because the Fields (Filmography and Title) could be imported from different scripts and therefor the Titles don't Match always 100%.

That's what I thought and why I said it was not something needing to be taken care of unless it was easy and only if the list of important stuff gets completed.

There is no comparison on filmology and movies in database.
I think that it would be too time expensive to compare all the entries especially the check if the movies are really identical.
Beside that I have already asked Ale for a function of crossreferencing possibility by accessing any movie's data by it's ID plus to find another movie's ID by knowing only title and year.
Maybe this function could make it possible to make a fast compare...
