Posted - 09 Jul 2004 : 13:37:42 Does anyone know how i configure WinDVD 6 as a player. My problem is i want it to play my dvd files, specificly the VIDEO_TS.IFO file. If i open the files from windows explorer with WinDVD it opens and starts playing fine so i don't think it's a problem with WinDVD but when i specify WinDVD as a player in EMM and specify VIDEO_TS.IFO as a file for that DVD and press f9 to play it WinDVD comes up but noting happens it just stays at the default WinDVD screen. Is it a switch i should be using. Any help would be great. Zoom Player will do this but i have had some problems with Zoom Player 4 if i drag the time bar accross to fast forward the movie the audio and video are no longer synced so i don't realy want to use Zoom Player. Power DVD want open VIDEO_TS.IFO files you have to specify a directory for that program which makes it hard when EMM needs a file to be specified. I havedn't tried any other player but if anyone know how i fix this compatibility problem with WinDVD or another DVD player that works with VIDEO_TS.IFO files i would love to know. Thanks in advanced. Jed |
