I'm testing XMM for use with myhtpc. I've tried arcadian's plugin, but it gives me an error message every time "Error: Cannot read the 'f:\zz\test.mdb' database"

The database file itself is fine.

Can anybody give me any suggestions? Is the trial version dongled so this plugin cannot function?

Your programme is great, but unless I can sort this out, I cannot use it for the main purpose I need it! :-(

Thanks

What's the commandline you run to start the program MovieMgr2My?
It should be like this:
MovieMgr2MY c:\XMM\db\myMovies.mdb c:\myHTPC\data
where "c:\XMM\db\myMovies.mdb" is the path to your database in I guess your case "f:\zz\test.mdb"
where "c:\myHTPC\data" is the path where you want the lists saved to.
Is "f:\zz\test.mdb" the right path and name of your database file?

If you think it is then you could try to open it by clicking "Start" button and choosing "Run" and type:
f:\zz\test.mdb
Does that work?
(You must have MS Access or another program that can read database files (*.mdb) for it to open.)
If it doesn't work do you get a message that it can't find the file?
Then check the path and filename.
Or do you get a message that Windows doesn't know what program to use to open the file?
Has it ever worked for you or is this the first time you tried it?
