I'm new in that forum.
Just one point who needs to be cleared. Or, at least, to be a little more documented. :-)
It's nice to se that in new version 1.7, the (x)Html export feature give more control than before. But there seems still to be missing features on the others side. In the moviecards used to generate the Html code.
Theses are very hard to modify if you whant to have another look or to include/move others fields than thoses included in default moviecards. There are lots of surprises inside. I played a whole day to understand the way it works, as there are nearly no docs. :-)
So, if you edit directly using, by sample, Frontpage, you can change the look. But it seems too that Frontdoor does change the, sample, the _MOVIE_GENRE_ string in the Html code, when you change that in moviecard.
But it doesn't change the corresponding "id=mGenre" tag thats seems to be necessary for the movie card to work. So you have to edit manually the result file to make the "id=" corresponding code to be the same as _MOVIE_XXX_ field. If you do it, it works. If you don't do, look is changed. But not the displayed information. :-)
(if someone is interested, I've made a modified version of the eXtreme help file about this, mentionning the "id=" corresponding tag, and the missing ones)
Others problem. Not all the _MOVIE_XXX_ fields seems to have an "id=" corresponding field. Samples: _MOVIE_OFFICIALWEB_, _MOVIE_MUSIC_, lots of _PRICE_, _OWNER_, all of the _MOVIE_MOVIEFILE1_, and so on, none of the have any corresponding "id=" tag.
It seems that, without theses tags, you can't extract/display theses informations in your moviecard generated code. Even if that info was exported by eXtreme export feature. Correct me if I'm wrong. :-)
So thats my point. Moviecards also needs to be updated, if we wants to use some of the fields exported by eXtreme. They also need some kind of documentation. So thats users could create new or modified moviecards, like I did.
I won't talk about the rest of eXtreme now. I had enough for just understanding moviecards. :-)
If you've better information than me about that, please, post.
