Posted - 22 Dec 2008 : 23:54:15 Hi Guys,
I want to share with you the screenshot of what I am working on. I am adding to XMM a new interface, that you can use to browse your collection. of course the main window will remain the same, but this new will help new user to get familiar with XMM.
The new interface will have skins, so I will ask you help on building new skins (I am not so good with graphics).
OK, stop speaking, just take a look at picture

Please write comments, impressions and suggestions!!
Thank you,
Alessio |

Posted - 28 Dec 2008 : 10:08:52 Hi,
basically this new interface (called simple interface) will help new users to get familiar with XMM, and for advanced user can be used to browse their collection in a comre confortable way.
Shelves, for now, is the data you put in the "Location" field. So, people that has a collection of DVD they will put here the position of their "shelves", but you can use this field to see also your HD. You have only to write in this field the name of your Hard Disk.
In future this interface will be "skinned".
Thank you,
Alessio |

Posted - 28 Dec 2008 : 03:57:01 What are the "shelves" for?
This would be great if the shelves were hard drives!
I have a SATA docking station (Thermaltake N0028USU) that is connected to my main Media Center PC. I have separate 1 TB hard drives for TV and Movies. I need to add yet another 1 TB drive for TV shows.
So if the "My Shelves" window could be a quick way to load the database for each drive, that would be very cool! |
