Heyas

I was wondering if it is somehow possible to change the location of your movie collection. Ie all movies where moved from E:\movies to D:\films.

I hope i dont have to reimport all the movies or change the location one by one...

Cheers,
Adrian

Hi Guys,

There is a function for do this (it's quite hidden, I will make it more visible in future releases).

You have to select movies you want change the path, then right-click -> Multiple Changes at once -> Replace word on Files...

Now, you have to replace the old "path" that you want substitute with the new one.

The easiest way would be to manually edit the database and perform a search and replace on the path location.

I have the same problem.
My list of movies on my HD is getting too long, and reorganised it on the HD.
I can reimport them in XMM, but would rather know if XMM cannot find if a movie already exists in the DB and asked if you want to add the movie as new, or if you want to assign it a new location.
would this be possible?

Neo
