Yep with the new version that's ok...Yesterday, I've tested 1.3 without Windows security update (patch 811493 for XP), and i can read file from hd. It's a suck update coz i use Nod 32 as antivirus and have pb. Thanks for version 1.4 |

Posted - 12 May 2003 : 20:53:29 Hi Alessio
What version should i download now? I've had simular problems with reading files. only with me it doesn't crash but is does take a minute to read the file from HD. After reading this post i looked in the reggeduser area but the version from there is dated 10 may and your last post is dated 12 may and i also don't see any updates but only complete versions and since i'm a modem user i cannot download the complete version everytime. i'd rather download the files that are changed, thats what i call an update. No offence ofcourse see it as an suggestion. |

Posted - 12 May 2003 : 13:30:42 Maybe I have found the problem :
XMM now has a new Function, when you read a file, it generate a MD5 Hash Key.
This is useful because we are working in a new Utility, like Kazaa, for share "files" between XMM users.
I will disable this function until the new utility will be out.
I am upload the fixed release, will be read in one our.
Thank you.
