Posted - 18 Apr 2003 : 23:48:17 It's true that one can do many things with the exported database and it is very convenient. It is also a lot of fun for people who don't any programming language.

Posted - 12 Apr 2003 : 15:05:33 @Laurent "This new export format is really great ! It is a major improvement because it is now possible to create a complete website with a single click !!!" => Thanks! ...The basic idea behind really was/is: 1. To define "multimedia" TOTALLY NEW!!! (no... I am not crazed out!) __ You HAVE one "database" and that created ONCE which can be: 1a put on the WEB 1b burned on CD (or other storage media) 1c send via EMAIL to whom ever (with small pics of course ...TEST was over 500 movies within 2.5MB) 1d printed out (if someone likes) 1e browsed on EVERY platform
so you have NOT 1 thing stuck together out of multi medias and at least running only on one platform...
you have 1 thing AVAILABLE for multi medias!!! (production time reduced a lot)
...but we are talking about an idea!!! ...I wanted to hear from users if the things went this way... but... no further comment!
"A small suggestion is to make possible to select the default sort order (e.g. date (dsc)) when exporting the DB in HTML format" => The way the filters are realized DON'T let this be an "easy" task!
so long...
