One of my biggest problems when looking for a Movie to watch is finding the best ONE to watch out of 60-80 Movies in my collection that I haven't watched yet. In some case when I want to watch a Movie again, I clear the Seen box. But when you have a collection of 300+ Movies, trying to scroll around to finding which one is more important than another, it gets frustrating.

What would be nice is a top level (Command Menu Bar) function under Tools that contained a list of all of the Movies that have the Seen box empty or unchecked. As for functions of this new tool, its simple, the user selects Two Movies from the list of UnSeen Movies and then a function button such as a "Flip" and the two Movies change their locations on the list. There would also be an button for inserting the first Movie selected so that gets inserted after the second Movie selected. You could have a Two Insert buttons with one to Insert be and another that Inserts after the second selected Movie.

I hope you will consider this New Feature request.

Why not simply taking any field that you don't need and enter the value you need? I hope that Ale will soon provide more custom fields...

I considered using a couple of fields like the Wanted or Seen or even the Marked box but none of those can hold anything but Yes or No.
I wasn't looking to play to movies at once. Only that a with a Database table of Movie Names only, being able to arrange the table contents in the order the user wants. There could also be a link from that table to the actual Movie Record that the user could use to jump back into the main grid/thumbnail page.
Any ways, I'll keep checking for other ways to do it.

Thanks,
Norm

The unseen movies you can filter. Changing the priority/position of a movie? You only could change a field that contains a value of your own, as example your personal rating or a free custom field. But processing two movies the same time - that's not possible.
As this is only a single user feature I don't think that is should be implemented in XMM itself. Only possible way for such a function would be a plugin for that.
