It would be a great asset if each movie also could have different languages subfiles conected to it. |

Posted - 13 Jun 2004 : 00:49:52 Subtexts (subtexts) are extra files (normally ended with crt, sub or idx) that by using a plugin to your film player overlays the movie with the subs. So a directory listing for a film with two AVI files including subtitles might look like this:
21 Grams CD1.avi 21 Grams CD1.idx 21 Grams CD1.sub 21 Grams CD2.avi 21 Grams CD2.idx 21 Grams CD2.sub
It's the extra idx, and sub files I was referring to. It would be great if XMM could import and identify these aswell. It's not too important that XMM knows which subtitle file connects to which avi file, atleast not in this stage.
The reason for having these files in the system is that I then can do a search for films lacking subtitles and easy go out and find them. Also when my other request "Move this movies files to another location" comes to live it's good that all files are encountered to! :-) |

Sorry for my bad english! What do you mean exactly? have more fields for the languages fields? Or write all languages in the same field (that will be like the comments field)?
