i mentioned it to Allessio but i need some voices that we need this feature.

heres the explanation:
normally we download movie after movie. That means you wait for every download after each choice of movie. That takes a long times.

The feature request would be to download all that stuff after the choices. So you choose in some minutes and the download can take up half an hour, who cares...

Hi,

I am working on it, but it's not easy because I must rewrite some part of engine. I hope to do quickly.

Bye!

OK guys, I am working as much as possible on XMM, I hope to fix the CD Box ID for the next release, and also the "Mass Internet Download" is at top on my work list.

Stay tuned

no you misunderstood me. it was not meant to be arrogant. Its simply that EMM is the only program on the market that is very good. No wait theres another. Its called moviedb. Its only problem is that it is never updated as the programmer has no time. So it is of no use as the bugs make it unusable in many ways (although it would be perfect if it would work in all its features). Its like the multiDVD read feature that I requested and that alessio made for us. Its great but without the numbering of the boxid its useless, as if not programmed at all. So there may be a way to do the trick with a lot of work but if EMM wants to be the best it has to do it itself. I simply wont state: hey alessio we dont need that feature someone just told us how to workaround..

Wow that's an arrogant comment. I wish I could say that to my boss when I don't want to work

If you want to get people to support your request you may want to drop the "program the way I want it" attitude.

I admit this feature would be nice but since there are other ways to do it (IE: Henry's suggestion which you blew off) I don't think this is something needed right now.

Keep up the good work Alessio...

is this about the info you download from the web ?
I always dl from imdb, and here's how I do it.

For each movie I get the url of the movie, like this (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119116/) and this I put in the database, 'Web Link' and the number I copy also into the 'Site ID'.

Next I go to 'WWW' and select all the movies you want to import, go to 'engine configuration' and select 'Update Mode 2'
After that I select the script I wanna use and ...

Well usually I go eat or have some coffee or whatever :)

OK Guys, I will do it

I have the very same idea. Being just started using XMM i feel this feature is really necessary!

It's seems to me that feature is rather easy to implement - just some changes in algorithm the load module is working. Alessio, please, take a strong look on this ;)

Hi,

It's really a good idea, I must admit it, but it's not so easy to implement in the engine (that it's a bit complicated)

I will try...

Bye!
