Posted - 17 May 2009 : 16:37:22 I have a movie collection that I imported in XMM. Unfortunately, my database doesn't contain any movie file information. The movie files are on three hard drives. Is there a way to drag and drop the movie file into XMM so it picks up the file location and media information?
Even better, is there a way to have XMM search a hard drive for movie files that match movies already in the XMM database and automatically add the file location and media information? The movie file names begin with the movie title (a direct match to the title in the XMM database, except some have "." instead of blank spaces).
Thanks, David |

Posted - 28 May 2009 : 23:53:37 Awesome! It works great! The only bug I found is if a second file gets dragged to "Movie File 2", "Movie File 1" gets overwritten. In other words, the drag and drop movie file function works only for "Movie File 1". It's not a big deal for me, since my media player starts into the second movie file at the end of the first file anyway.
Thanks again, David |
