Posted - 24 Apr 2009 : 23:13:30 Hi Alessio,
Isnt it possible to take director (and other stuff) names like the actors name in v7? (clickable, unique id etc) Also in search field eg for directors i have to put the whole name to find it (eg for copola i have to type "copola", its not possible to find it if i type "copo" for example.)
Also now that i noticed i set the default script 1 but when i close and open xmm again its not set. Also the name dont change for the default script when i set it.
Also a suggestion, so not to open a new topic. When i use the "search advanced filters" option, and make a search and then close XMM and open it some other time, the filters are there (which is good) What i suggest is to show in the main screen (maybe in the search tab) that there is a specific filter in use, and a clear button, to be able to see all movies in the db without the need to go to advanced and clear from there. I came to this suggestion cause i used some filters 2 days ago and today when i open XMM, didnt remember that i had filters. So i didnt realise i wasnt seeing ALL movies in the db Hope to understand what i'm talking about
Thanx! |

Since the directors, producers etc links are not available yet, one question When it becomes available, i have to reimport from web to show, or it will became available for the already imported movies too?

Posted - 29 Apr 2009 : 00:39:38 Hi Alessio, yes the search works fine that way, thanks!
What about directors/producers/etc name? Shouldnt that appear as a clickable link in the movie card, since i choose to import it with the script option as the actors? So if i click a director for example in a movie card, it shows all the movies from that director.
Also i think there is a bug in the import procedure. When i import a movie and there is a list with movie names to choose from, there are some blank lines (the name of the movie does not appear) but if i click i can see the preview page.
I use the imdb complete script |

The quicksearch should work in the latest release, just select from the dropdown list at top of the quicksearch textbox the Director field
