Hello again

When I import a movie and XMM asks me to select which of the results is the right one, it would be very nice if it would go on searching for the next movies in the background, and have all the results ready for when I have to select the right result for the next movie. That way you wouldn't always have to wait a few seconds between each movie.

Ive also been wondering for a long while if it wouldn't be possible to let XMM open 4 or 5 connections and download for several movies at once?

May be at leas "two" connections, but not more???

Even that would give us a double speed and not be much of a burden...

And by the way; if we download faster and get out of the website as quick as we can, wouldn't that be better for the bandwidth rather than constantly downloading info for longer times.

I mean we only update info when we add new movies and that is relatively rare...

I understand the bandwidth problem.

But even if EMM doesn't open multiple connections, it would still be nice if it continued to search for the next one, even if it's asking you to select a source for another.

Mmm, personaly I've never thought of this, being a burden on the bandwidth I mean.

May be you're right... It would be nice though if everything was ok.

Hi Guys,

As Mawu wrote, I don't think it's a good idea.

What you can do is to use the advanced options of script.

In the window where you select the script to use, at right, press the button to show all advanced options.

Now, after the textbox at top there are some checkbox. If you select the option 1°, 2° and 4° XMM will import automatically the movie info without stop search, so it will skip all movies that you have to select the directlink. You can, after the import has finished, import the movies left and select all directlinks at once.

I hope I am clear enough with my bad english.

Wow that's a good wish...

And hey, I've been thinking about multiple connections too... Glad you brought it up!

Take care!
