Just wondering if there is more than one cover, i.e. like DVD empire does 3, would it be possible to have the shelve display the first one? It appears that it chooses the last one by default which in my case is always the lowest resolution so it looks blurry on my shelves.

Thank you,
Mike

The new releases, from 6.7.0, "refresh" thumbnail when you add/modify the first picture. So, it create the thumbnail the first time when you import from internet, but it change it also when you add or move pictures with Covers Manager.

Worked like a charm!!! They look great!!

Can you tell me at what point does the program create a thumbnail? Does it do it right when you update from the internet?

OK, maybe I have understand. Only from the latest releases XMM re-create the thumbnail picture when you move/copy it.

I suggest you to manually delete all picture files from the subfolder "_thumbs" (maybe make a backup first if you want and close XMM). then open XMM again, it will re-create all thumbnail when you open the shelves view (it will take some minutes).

Let me know,

Yes Alessio I did. And oddly enough when I move a higher res picture to the last spot it improved greatly. But then again when I moved some that where for instance a screen shot to the last spot it didn't always show that one. I'm very confused because sometimes it truly seems random.

Hi,

Shelves view display always the first cover of a movie, but it "resize" it to the correct size to load pictures more quick. Did you notice a really downgrade of the picture in the shelves?

Alessio
