I wounder if this is possible to have a mysqldatabase on the net and create a client that you can use in your computer, or use a WEBGUI for adding movies.
When you start your client the "big" database sync with the mysql database on the net.
When you are away and buy movies you can always connect to your "webdatabase" and and them.
i read about the thread about having the database on a memory stick, but i think this is one way to solve that problem.

maybe it will be helpful to have a direct sql export in xMM for this purpose. Among other things I use xMM as a datasource for a website, that is realised with PHP and MySQL. I always have to export as CSV and re-import it by phpMyAdmin into my online-database. It would be helpful to be able to do this directly (SQL-Export in xMM and synchronisation with the server by Total Commander).

Posted - 21 Jul 2008 : 11:06:15 Hi!
Thank you for your suggestion, but at this time is not possible. You can of course put the MDB database file in a server, but there arent any web application that can handle the database as you request.
If there are someone that want make such thing I will happily add to my website and make it available for everyone.
Thank you,
