Suggestion 1: Make blank fields appear AFTER populated fields.

Currently, the sort lists the sorted field in the following order --> BLANK, A-Z. I would prefer the sort order to be --> A-Z, BLANK

Not preferred (note: sort is by studio):
[Studio \/] [Title]
This title has a blank studio
This zzz one too
ABC Films When Henry Met Samantha
Zak Studios Crumble Joe

Would prefer:
[Studio \/] [Title]
ABC Films When Henry Met Samantha
Zak Studios Crumble Joe
This title has a blank studio
This zzz one too

Suggestion 2: Ignore punctuation in sort

A title of "Zebra Tails" (quotes INCLUDED in title) will be sorted BEFORE a title of: Adams Family. Suggestion is to ignore punctuation in sort and key off of first alpha-numeric.

Suggestion 3: Allow sort by multiple fields

When sorting by any field - if there are multiple items with the same string under that field - then the other fields will be sorted by the MovieID.

The problem is that when I sort by studio (I only show Studio and Title under my list -- sometimes MovieID), the Title is not in alphabetical order (which I would prefer).

A couple solutions:

1) If user has list sorted by Field-X and decides to change sort based off of Field-Y, then run sort based off of currently sorted list instead of original list which is organized by sequential MovieIDs.

In other words, I could sort by the "Title" field first, then by "Studio" and all titles under (for example) the ABC Studio will be in alphabetical order.

2) Only sort by fields which are chosen. If user has the following fields:

[Studio] [Title] [Length]

And clicks on "Title" to sort by title, then:

Titles are sorted in A-Z, if any title is repeated (two movies named "Forks Are Funny") then the software sorts by the 1st column next (Studio). If there are two movies with the same title and studio, then results are sorted by the next column (Length in this case). Therefore, if columns are in different order:

[Length] [Title] [Studio]

The result may be different since repeated titles will be sorted by length first. If length and titles are the same, then results will be sorted by studio.

Spacing does not format completely in forum - here's an edit which replaces spaces with "." in order to attempt to be more clear.

Not preferred (note: sort is by studio):
[Studio \/]...[Title]
.................This title has a blank studio
.................This zzz one too
ABC Films.....When Henry Met Samantha
Zak Studios...Crumble Joe

Would prefer:
[Studio \/]...[Title]
ABC Films.....When Henry Met Samantha
Zak Studios...Crumble Joe
.................This title has a blank studio
.................This zzz one too
