After importing the databases from XMM7, the boxsets are all jumbled up and does not show the movies in database. The boxsets show the features of a single movie and not that of a boxset as was in XMM7.

Yes, Ale has changed that to import Boxsets by script.
Try to reassign the movies if it will help you. Otherwise you have to ask Ale.
