Posted - 30 Sep 2012 : 05:02:12 I did a complete uninstall and new install and now have the needs xp sp 3 errors. I'm running Windows 7 64bit.
I'm getting a strange flashing in the center of the screen that I'm guessing is the like the title bar. I noticed it when I started to add movies but also noticed while EMM is open it does it on screens like its flashing now. Shutting down EMM it stops.
Scanning your device to add movies, if you select a file folder with sub folders within it, it doesn't search the subfolders. Like I did New\Robocop, New\Mission Impossible 1 with the movie in the subfolder. On 15 this worked fine. Could be I'm missing a check box somewhere although on 15 I didn't check any.
I'm going to redownload and do a clean install again only this time with admin rights to see that cleans any of this up also going to check and see if the uninstall is leaving any little extras behind which is causing a problem.

I just finished the test scripts for importing and converting databases in both 15 and 16 and it appears to be working well. Importing is faster on 16 both with and without pictures. |

I also think I found the other problem. The uninstall doesn't get rid of the old example database. When I cleaned out the folder and reinstalled it worked fine. Also when I installed using run as administrator it worked fine too. |

Posted - 30 Sep 2012 : 06:31:44 Hello,
Probably XMM is loading an old database? Because the error windows XP3 seem to be related to a database without all fields (I have add new in this release, now I think I have finish )
About device scanner, there is a check box in the configuration to search also in subfolders...
Thank you! |
