After exiting EMM v3.0B1 the program remains running.

It can be seen in XP task manager, even 30 minutes after exit, still running. Asking task manager to close the program results in a popup showing Program trying to close,, (exit now.. button on bottom).

Trying to restart EMM after exit (wihtout above technique) results in popup "EMM already running"

OK, Thank you! I will try to reproduce the problem with a large Actor's DB.

Bye!

no I never tried it with example dbase.

But I now tried it with an option change to "Do NOT load Actor Dbase" and I no longer have a problem with the program exiting or restarting. All works as normal for me with that change. At that same time, I deleted the Actor dbase, as it was growing large & I don't use it at present.

OK.. now I can no longer recreate the problem. I reset Configuation to LAOD Actor dbase, but still the program works perfectly (thankfully ..LOL). Of course my actor dbase is empty now.

The only thought I draw from my exerience is that a large actor dbase may somehow cause the problem, as mine was very large when I deleted it. Also roha1234 had same experience when he disabled loading actor dbase.

Hi Guys,

I will take a look quickly, I hope to fix it soon.

Alessio

PS: Did you have the same problem also with a database with few movies? (try the example database)

I had the same thing happen..... after I disabled loading the huge actors' database, then it didn't do that anymore. My operating system is also Windows XP.
