I have a problem with printing movie lists....which use to work. I had not done it in a while and recently upgraded to SP2, but I am not sure this is the problem.

What happens is that it appears to start printing and then hangs up. Cpu usage goes and stayes at ~50% which is a lot for a 3.2gb cpu. I have to kill EMM to stop it.

I have tried on Adobe PDF print driver and real printers. I have installed back levels of EMM to see if that would fix it. On creating PDFs I have seen it indicate 9 pages before it hung, and 5, and no pages indicated. The 1 or 2 times I got partial output, it seemed that the printing was pushed far to the right side and only part of the columns on the page...a lot of white space on the left.

Twice I got the following EMM error log info (or at least that was what was indicated on the notepad window):

%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%
%%[Page: 1]%%
%%[Page: 2]%%
%%[ Error: syntaxerror; OffendingCommand: '1+4 ]%%
%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

Hi,

I think that the problem is related with your Printer Drivers.

I have notice this bug also in a PC where I work, that time was CorelDraw that print an "Offending Command". The installation of fresh drivers should fix it.

Bye!
