I have bought and installed the newest Version of EMM 2.6 Build 9
During the installation the Setuproutin asked for a few files, which are newer than that will be installed so I kept the newer files.
I am using WinXP SP 2 RC1.
I tried to run the Software, but after the language selection it hangs at "Loading Types..." and I just can kill the prozess.
Does someone knows a solution for my problem? |

Hi Alessio,
it is the registered Version.
And you are right, I have replaced the system32\ComCtl32.ocx and system32\COMDLG32.OCX and now it works fine.

Hi Shen,
You are speaking about the shareware release or the registered?
It's strange, XMM freeze at startup if you haven't all runtime files installed.
I think you must try to replace your system files, especially :
system32\ComCtl32.ocx
system32\COMDLG32.OCX
Please let me know.
