Hey,
I just heard about this and it looks real good, so i downloaded the sharewere version 2.6 build 8.
Problem is, after i add a movie, or pick a movie from the example database, every time i click WWW this happens:
1. i see a small window saying initializing engine (script engine)
2. The CPU gets to 100%
3. Software stops responding until terminated.

So far i tried this:
1. Letting it run for ~10 minutes. nothing happened.
2. Closed the firewall - no change.
3. reinstalled, telling the installation to overwrite the exisiting runtime files - no good.

Any help?

Thanks.

Hi,

It's strange, what OS do you have?

Hi,

Please send me an email, I will send to you a special release of XMM that will show you a log, this will help us to find the bug.

Thank you for your patience and collaboration!

Still no luck. I have created an empty database, added a movie and when I pressed the 'www' button I get a corrupted 'Initialising engine' box and my CPU shoots up to 100%

Hi,

Try to create a new database, empty, and add one movie. I think that the problem is related to database , but in my PC works correctly.

I am analizing the "Inizialization procedure" to find a bug...

It still doesn't work for me. My PC freezes no matter what I try even when using the second database. The 'Initializing Engine' box does not show properly on the screen though... Any ideas?

Hello,
I did as you suggested and it worked
Then i deleted all the the examples from the DB and tried adding movies and everything works fine

Many thanks!

Hi,

It's really strange this, please try to load the second example database (the one for series), add a new movie and try to import it again.

Please let me know.

Alessio
