Posted - 27 Mar 2010 : 23:16:38 The program keeps crashing on 64-bit windows, it's working fine on XP 32-bit. It's when I use IMDB(complete) it keeps crashing, it won't even finish one movie before it crashes. But in VMWare XP it works fine like i said before. I hope you fix this in newer version of the program.

Posted - 05 Sep 2010 : 15:31:45 Hi,
I really cannot understand why windows keep telling that the software crash. XMM simply exit and windows *think* that is crashed.
I will continue to make tests to better understand the reason.
Thank you!

Thank you,

Posted - 13 May 2010 : 18:02:05 Had the same problem (crashing on exit) under Win7 64bit. Saving the database in a different folder (under Users/Public/...) apparently solved the issue. |

Posted - 08 May 2010 : 06:10:18 Hi,
The crash at exit is "normal", I mean that Windows 7 *think* that XMM is crashed but it simply closed. I am trying to find the solution.
Thank you,
Ale |

Posted - 07 May 2010 : 14:23:43 I am having the same problem on Win 7-64 bit. The program consistently crashes on exit. The actual crash is somewhere in user.dll. I have tried various compatibility settings - no luck so far.
Please advise. |

Posted - 05 May 2010 : 22:37:02 Hi guys,
sorry for not answer to this topic.
I have try several tests in these weeks, all with windows 7 (64 and 32 bit) without any problem.
The only thing that happen sometime is that windows write that XMM is crashed when you close it, but its not true, XMM just close itself.
Please keep me informed if you find something wrong in your PC configuration.

Some News after more investigations : XMM doesn't works at the same Time with psqltray.exe (Parts of Protector Suite)
Now, I have to stop psqltray when I use XMM & all is working fine.
The Question :what Soft contains the Mystake ??? |

Posted - 20 Apr 2010 : 22:08:10 Hmmm...so it works for some people and not others....that sort of sounds like a user\machine configuration problem rather than a software problem. First off, try to install it as administrator...you will have to enable that acct first. NOT as a user with admin privileges! If it works installing as the administrator then you know it is permissions for your user acct. If it doesn't work, then take a look in the event viewer to isolate where your problem is. Apparently it is a problem with your PC as I have run it on Windows 7 64 bit Pro with no problem too....

Posted - 15 Apr 2010 : 04:59:02 I'm running ok on 64bit Win 7 Pro.
Here's a couple of questions that might help other's understand what going on in your set up.
Were your installs new or updates? Do you recall what you were doing with the application the last good time it ran? Have the drive letter or folder names changed since the last good run.
Thanks, Norm |
