I had a lot of issues with eXtreme Movie Manager and windows 7

1. Scripts not working
2. lock ups
2. avi’s did not play

The problem is easy to fix and should be easy for Alessio Viti to rectify in the next update.

All you need to do is uninstall then when you reinstall use the default directory and all the issues with windows 7 are gone.

Hi,

I have notice this problem in some PC, but only when you close XMM.

XMM do not "crash" (it simply close itself), but for an unknown reason Windows 7 "think" that is crashed.

I will investigate.

Thank you!

Ale

Trust me, the problem is that Windows 7 do not allow programs to write in the programs folder.

If you install XMM in any other folder (even in a usb key) it will works correctly.

Let me know if it's not true because otherwise there is a bug somewhere.

Thank you!

Hi Guys,

you are right, if you install XMM in program folder and you are not an administrator, XMM cannot work correctly because windows do not allow XMM to write files.

Alessio
