the version 7.0.5.4. doesn't remember the selected layout after close and restart. always starts in the beginner screen. this is very annoying.

I also noticed that when I try to close my EMM from the advanced view it says the program is not responding. I tried the other views and they work perfectly fine.

I am running Win7 Pro - 64X

Is this a common problem? Does anyone know of a solution?

hmm many thanks :)

and yes.. i know i should look better before deleting, but after the x-th delete you get a little routine into it ;)

Normal "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\eXtreme Movie Manager 7\eXtreme Movie Manager.exe"
Advanced "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\eXtreme Movie Manager 7\eXtreme Movie Manager.exe" ADVANCED
Shelves "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\eXtreme Movie Manager 7\eXtreme Movie Manager.exe" SHELVES

So just add Advanced or Shelves to your shortcut

you just have to add the parameter ADVANCED to your "normal" XMM link. Best to check links before deleting ;)

>sometimes i get the feeling the software gets downgraded very often :(<
I don't think that anything was downgraded - only a few things are not re-implemented yet. On the other hand there are a lot of big improvements!

>btw: the layout selection screen and xmm crashes for me when i dont click on the big letters 'change interface now!' first but on any other spot in the window. (win xp pro sp3, ie8)<
You're right, there is a bug... when i click on the picture of the wanted mode XMM closes without restarting. Seems to miss the link. But that's imho a bug that will be corrected asap by Alessio.

hmm, who changes things that where running good and smoothly?? sometimes i get the feeling the software gets downgraded very often :(

anyway: since i deleted the additional start menu entries, because i have them already on another place like xmm would like to place them, im missing the xmm advanced start button. and in the programm folder i dont find a usable file to point my shortcut to. could someone help me with the right path/instruction for this one?
dont want to download an reinstall the whole thing..

btw: the layout selection screen and xmm crashes for me when i dont click on the big letters 'change interface now!' first but on any other spot in the window. (win xp pro sp3, ie8)

You have to start the XMM Advanced. It's an additional entry in your start menu.
