The system seems to have trouble with different actors with the same name.
In my collection I have
The Perfect Storm
and
The Full Monty
both of these films have an actress called Diane Lane - but they are not the same person.
If I am in The Perfect Storm and click Diane Lane it shows her in The Full Monty, but not in The Perfect Storm! |

I have the same problem with Cameron Mitchell (a decades older actor) and John Cameron Mitchell (a fairly young actor/director) when you click on the actor you see both actors movies - both have unique web ids and were imported from imdb? Now what? |

Thanks for the reply, I think the problem is with the default Movie.htm Template. I've checked the entries for each film, and the different Diane Lanes have the correct individual WebIDs. I think movie.htm is picking the one with the lowest ID number, which ever film is selected.
I've just re-created this in a blank database. Added The Full Monty and The Perfect Storm. Select The Full Monty and click on Diane Lane, and the wrong one is displayed. |

Hi,
Sorry for my late reply!
If you import the info from IMDB you should have not such problems because the script import the unique Actor ID of IMDB.
When you select an actor, if the field of the unique IMDB ID is filled XMM will correctly show the movies, otherwise will use the actor name (and in that case will make the mistake)
Please check if Diane Lane has the "WebID" field filled or not.
