Posted - 24 Apr 2009 : 01:27:03 Actors do not automatically add into the actor database when movies are imported from the web - they still have to be added manually, 1 by 1.
Also, actors cannot be updated from the web as a group. Must be done one by one.
So the only way to add actors to the database and update them is to do each step one at a time. |

For an example refer to the IMDB Complete script, that retrieve the actors info and then save it all with the data about the actors.

Posted - 25 Apr 2009 : 02:51:29 The #ADDACTOR# function was missing from the adultdvdempire script. I added it and now it imports actors into the actor database when importing the movie info. |

Posted - 24 Apr 2009 : 22:06:41 My problem is with the scripts I am using. I created a new database and was able to get everything to work correctly with the IMDB scripts. But the adultdvdempire script won't import actors into the database (although they are listed on the movie card) and the IAFD actors script won't let you import more than one actor from web.
I'll try and look at the scripts and figure out why. |

I will fix this in next release.

Posted - 24 Apr 2009 : 09:26:32 Hi,
You should be able to search more than one actor.
This is what you have to do:
Select more that one actor from the Actor's grid ( main window)
Press the Quick Import button i the toolbar.
XMM Should let you select the script to use and start import all actors you selected.
Please let me know,
