Posted - 19 Jan 2009 : 00:39:52 I backed up a movie database because we formated the computer. When the database was imported it imported all the movies but not the covers. We have all the covers in a folder. How would I import the covers. It did not ask to export or import covers.
Thanks |

Posted - 21 Jan 2009 : 19:06:00 Hi,
The function to import "from previous XMM database" is ONLY for database of 4.8 release! you cannot use for the rlease from 5.x
From the 5.x you have to just copy the covers in the propher subfolders, nothing more.
For example, if your database filename is called "mymovies.mdb", you have to put your covers under:
"mymovies_covers" subfolder.
Please open the database with XMM, it will create all subfolders for you, then copy the images in these subfolders.
Please let me know,

Posted - 21 Jan 2009 : 02:59:09 I have placed all the covers within a folder called _covers and then placed that folder in the same folder with the .mdb file. I then used the import option "from previous xmm database, however the covers did not appear. And the import locked up the program after it looked to be complete. Is there a secondary step that the import function was going to complete after the program locked up? Your further assistance would be appreciated.
