I have no problem with the eMM when I use it at home, but when I try to install it in my office, the I always got some errors:

So I put in manually the path where eMM is installend. Nothing happens. I have to close the window with the "x" in the top right corner. After that, the same error report again, I chose the correct path again and close the error report with the "x".

Then this error shows up:

I think there is a problem with the network path. I also edited the path in the registry (to c:/program files etc) but the errors do show up...

I use WinXP Professional and I use the origina program (paid the fee of 10€)

Can please someone HELP?!

Finally I know now where the problem lies: On this PC, the folder of "my documents" is on my H: drive and not on the C: drive! So eMM is always searching on the C: drive for the file which is not working! So I fixed the path and now its running!

Allesio: please remove the filepath in your last post, because this is identifing me. Grazie

XMM Search for Language file in this position:
Manager\languages

So, all subfolders that I wrote before must be on that folder:

Ok, i selected the corrected path, but the last error remains (Welcome... Unhandled exception). When I put "Continue" a lot of errors appearing and I cant open the program. With "Quit" it doesn start.

So i still can't use eMM

Thats the full text of the error:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi,

You must select the path that contains all subfolders that XMM need to work, not the subfolder of the EXE file.

There is a folder, in your PC, that XMM create during install, and this folder usually is created under "My documents" folder:

My Documents
|---eXtreme movie manager
|---Configuration
|---languages
|---help
|---scripts
|---.....

you should find this "extreme movie manager" subfolder and select it.

Please let me know,

Alessio
