Posted - 18 Dec 2008 : 08:56:22 Hello Alessioviti.
I did had no problems until now. I do have the newest update of your program , and did try to ad a lot of movies which are located on my DVico media player. Scanning the drive did work fine. Importing also. But even after several new runs with collecting info over the internet, no covers at all are shown in the movie cards. However in the card a file is shown for a cover! Searching all my hard drives for the files did not find any wrongly placed cover! This makes me believe that no cover at all has been downloaded. Furthermore, after moving all my previously added movies ( around another 1000 ) to my media player I did try to use the movie file manager utility. I did navigate to the old and the new file locations ( so there is no possible typing error in the paths) but the prog only did move a part of the files to the new location. So I did try again now not over the network, but over an usb connection to the player. This did move another part. No way to get all of them showing in the right place! Please advise Rob

Posted - 21 Dec 2008 : 23:44:28 Hi Martin,
The strange thing is that there are no errors from log, everything seem perfect.
I have another idea, I will make more tests now...
Thank you for your patience.

Posted - 21 Dec 2008 : 16:39:15 I looked into the temp dir:
The file was stored as "passfoto2008122116373562.jpg" in the tempdir\images\ dir!
It wouldn't only be copied into databases\example_cover\ :( There is no new file :( |

Posted - 21 Dec 2008 : 16:36:21 Yes, I've already seen it...

Posted - 21 Dec 2008 : 16:31:11 Martin please download the latest release, open the example database and add a new movie.
now open the Covers manager and add manually a new cover.
There is a new textbox at bottom of Covers manager that is a log, please write me the whole log.

Posted - 21 Dec 2008 : 16:09:10 That isn't the problem! I deleted the whole TEMPDIR and reinstalled XMM... Same problem :(
No corrupted files or directories inside
:( :( |
Alessio Viti |
Posted - 20 Dec 2008 : 19:31:01 Another Thing Martin,
please close XMM and delete everything you find in the TEMPDIR Subfolder of XMM, also the TMPDIR/IMAGES subfolder.
If there is some file "locked", that you cannot delete, please restart your PC and try to delete all.
I want know if there is some corrupted file inside this temp that may block XMM during image import.

Posted - 20 Dec 2008 : 15:40:40 I am runnig out of ideas, I have read much times today the procedure of cover creation but I cannot find a cause about this.
Do you remeber the last version of XMM that was working correctly on your PC?
About the example database, please do not delete covers, try to add new covers without delete the old one and let me know,
Really sorry guys for these problems!

Posted - 19 Dec 2008 : 00:00:06 Hi Guys,
Please let me know if the "eXtreme Movie Manager" folder, where all files of XMM are located, is under "my documets" folder in your PC.
Have you already try to reset XMM configuration? You can do that in the Options Menu ->Reset XMM configuration
