Posted - 17 Dec 2008 : 05:46:32 In the latest few releases. (sorry there were 3-4 updates that happened within the last week, thanks for all the work) xmm no longer displays the green play button. I now see open file folder under the wanted icon. My movie files are on a mapped network drive M:\ and they're ISO files, if that makes any difference. If I right click on a movie and select play movie then select file 1 everything works just fine.
Any idea why the play button isn't showing?
Thanks |

Posted - 18 Dec 2008 : 11:37:04 yes, it should do that, already.
Please check if the option "alway check if there's a movie" is selected or not. It's on the configuration window, file reading options.
Let me know,

Posted - 18 Dec 2008 : 11:32:13 Hello,
I got a similar problem; some of the movies that have been imported from data CD's have the blue play button like they're in hard disk. But when you click to them the CD-ROM opens.
Shouldn't XMM display another icon (I guess the eject button) for the movies that are imported from a portable media?
Thanks Erke |

Posted - 18 Dec 2008 : 08:28:43 Hi,
Yes, I have forget to tell you that this option must be checked. It's an option for the user that have external HD and don't want "spin up" every time they click on a movie.

Posted - 17 Dec 2008 : 16:24:40 nope, no eject on any of them. I've got 6 icons (sometime 7 with the trailer one) top row: mark select as wanted get info from internet bottom row: read codecs re-read codecs open file folder get info from internet quick |

Posted - 17 Dec 2008 : 16:05:07 The Problem should not be related to ISO Files or network drive. it's strange.
Do you see the "Eject button"? (it's the black one, instead of Play button that is "blue")

Posted - 17 Dec 2008 : 09:46:51 Hi,
Please open the Configuration window, go in the "File Reading" section and let me know if the value "always check if there is a movie to play..." is checked or unchecked.
I need to know this to better look if there is a bug or not.
Thank you!
