Posted - 04 Dec 2008 : 20:58:03 Hello Alessio,
I would really like to be able to have better quality covers in the database. When I select movie titles to populate cards from IMDB, I end up with cover jpgs that can hardly be magnified.
Thumb view is a pathetic blur and defeats the point of having a movie library easy to browse without reading the fields associated with every image.
Not only jpgs in thumb view, but also Jpgs in card view display very low resolution quality.
I am sure this point have been raised before, but I couldn't find an answer in the forum...
How do I download better quality images for my movies automatically as I download the rest of the information ?
Or is it just a problem with the viewer ?
Thanks a lot,
Cheers

Posted - 05 Dec 2008 : 06:36:02 Alessio, cover quality is now much better with the IMDB script; but why is it thumbview shows better quality then Moviecard given the same size of the picture ? ( That is zooming in or out in thumbview to compare the same copy of the jpg according to the Moviecard size of the jpg )
Thanks a lot. |

Posted - 04 Dec 2008 : 21:15:50 Hi,
The latest scripts for IMDB should download better covers. Please try it and let me know.
An alternative is to use the amazon.com script for covers, that has good one.
Let me know,
