All my movies (abt 600) are sitting on a network drive, connected to router, and can connect with wifi to mediaplayer. The drive does not have a fixed network address. If I update movies one day, then the other day XMM imports the same movies again, since the network adress from the drive was automatically changed when I logged in to Windows. This results in extra work for us, because now there are a lot of duplicate movies to delete, which is not an automatic feature in XMM. Of course, I can change the network address to a fixed address, but that should not be necessay.

Comparing īto be imported moviesī with it full location on a drive should be changed to comparing to exact moviename only. Also, because then the XMM database can also be sitting on the network drive, without to worry about network addresses from computers and additional equipment.

All with all, XMM is a good and usefull application.
