When upgraded to the latest version of movie manager and video browser, it now gives me an error when pressing watch movie:
"Unable to launch video browser"
There is no problem to scroll in the thumbnails and so on, only when pressing the watch movie button, it takes me back to main menu in MCE??

Hi Kerrikko,

The problem should be only in the Media center of Windows Vista, not inside XMM itself.

I will take a look at the MovieCard, i think the problem is inside it.

Is this bug also present in the XP PRO version of XMM ?
I imported titles from a folder on HD, then populated Moviecards and when I click on the PLAY MOVIE button in the BRUNO moviecard nothing happens...
I am new though, and maybe I am just doing somerhing wrong ?

Thanks

No, I am sorry. At this time the only solution is to switch back to old releases of this Media Center.

I am trying to export the collection also to others media centers...

Do you have any update on this issue?
Alessio Viti Posted - 23 Nov 2008 : 09:47:25
Hi,

You are right, the new release of Video Browser crash.

I suggest, until the author ha fixed this problem, to switch back to a previous release.

You can find the project here:

Yes, they are located on HD, and pointed directly to that location in XMM.
No problems at all before the latest update.
Tried movies that I know for sure was working before and now it just says when pressing watch movie:
INVALID APPLICATION "Unable to launch video browser"
I have TV-Pack installed, if that will make any difference.
I have tried to unistall video browser and XMM, reboot, install the full version, but still the same error.
I have not changed anything else between the upgrades of XMM, just updating vista...

Hi,

I will try to make some tests and let you know.

Your movies are stored in the HD?
