I am a user of XMM for years. I have an acer 5920G laptop with windows vista home premium (service pack 1) + kaspersky v7.0.1.325 (windows firewall is off)
There isn't any problem until now..(with the same configuration) But yesterday very bad things happened suddenly..the XMM script or movie update feature doesn't work anymore. It says that it couln't find an internet & the firewall is the reason.I made a search and then I find that kaspersky has some problem with it. I take it to the "kaspersky trusted application" even completely disabled...But the result is the same 
Please help me...What can I do for it ???
I've a database over 1550 movie which is growing with hi-res covers and extended info. This requires a lot of hard work you know 
I love XMM and don't want to try alternatives.

You COULD try completely uninstalling the firewall and testing XMM then. If it works properly when the firewall is uninstalled but won't work when the firefall is installed, then you probably need to request help from the firewall tech support as it appears to be a problem because of their firewall. |

Sorry for my late reply.
I am not sure I have understand: Do you have problems only with the Liveupdate or also when you import movie information from internet with scripts?
