Allesio,
I'm still waiting for your reply relating to this problem: the new updates cannot be sort by "date" because the version date field contains alphabetic characters...
jminidor Posted - 15 Apr 2008 : 17:01:01
Alessio,
As I wrote, the problem still exists: when I press the heading "date" on the "check updates" results - in order to sort the resukts by date - I get the error message as described in my previous post.
jminidor Posted - 05 Apr 2008 : 04:31:20
Thanks again for quick response, but after trying versions 6180 and 6190 the problem still exists: after checking for new updates, when I try to sort the results by date, by pressing the "date" heading, I still keep getting error notice.
Below you can see the details:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Alessio,
Thank you for a quick reply.
On second thought, why not have the option of sorting by date? that way one can quickly locate the latest update and choose those that he wants...
