menu:
[advanced function] > [movie file functions] > [rename files]

Executing this feature to add dates resulted in:

moviename(2002)(1-6).avi
moviename(2002)(2-6).idx
moviename(2002)(3-6).sub
moviename(2002)(4-6).avi
moviename(2002)(5-6).idx
moviename(2002)(6-6).sub

A huge MESS !

you must exclude idx, sub, and srt files from increasing the counter.

also: I muss the option to modify filenames, not rename all, because some movies had movie.avi, extras1.avi , "about_making.avi" , and that got messed up as well.

Hi,

Have you add in the database also the .idx and .sub files?

I can make an option to exclude such files from the rename procedure.

Alessio
