Posted - 21 Aug 2007 : 17:58:32 hi alessio,
haven't heard anything for long timer - that's good - 'cause there are usually no real problems for me when using XMM. but todau XMM hangs up when checking for updates. actually its configured to check for updates when starting the proggy, so i'm not able to use it.. any idea how to disable update-checking on startup - without starting XMM?
kind regrads perkeo |

Posted - 21 Aug 2007 : 22:49:33 No problem, but it's not your problem only, the fact is that the procedure is quite "slow", I will try to change it.
Thank you,

Posted - 21 Aug 2007 : 18:41:42 no timeout occurs. was waiting for several minutes.. the configuration is only accessible if XMM has been started;-) but i can't start XMM due to update checking (that blocks everything). if i click to close the update checking window - the complete application will close immediately.

Posted - 21 Aug 2007 : 18:16:05 Hi Perkeo,
If you wait 30-40 seconds the check for updates go to "timeout", so you will be able to use XMM again.
Btw, you can disable the updates from configuration window
Bye!
