Hi,

the current XMM build 5.7.5.0 crashes on Windows Vista Ultimate x64 German when trying to read codec information from a file (an avi file from DVD for example). I already deinstalled it and reinstalled the last full version.

I also followed the advice regarding Vista to configure it for XP SP2 compatibility mode and have it run with administrator privileges.

I am using an x64 build of ffdshow as codec package. The following event is logged to my application log (event id 1000) when this error occurs:

Fehlerhafte Anwendung eXtreme Movie Manager.exe, Version 5.7.5.0, Zeitstempel 0x45cce226, fehlerhaftes Modul ntdll.dll, Version 6.0.6000.16386, Zeitstempel 0x4549bdf8, Ausnahmecode 0xc0000374, Fehleroffset 0x000aa0fb, Prozess-ID 0xfd8, Anwendungsstartzeit 01c74ec4b6b7f4eb.

Any ideas, is there something I can try?
