Hello,

I have installed the version 5.1.9.0 and I don't know if it's since the installation or already with previous version of XMM but now, my access database file is more than 1,2 GB. I have only 240 movies, 10 series for a total of 1000 episodes and 8468 actors. Is it normal to have a so big size for the database file ?

Thank you very much.

Hello,

I have tried to compact the database with access. Now my database is around 650 Mo.
I think I have found the problem. With the last script for Allocine.fr, it seems there is a bug with the import of actors.
I have made a little print screen of XMM http://www.cmaurice.com/print.PNG for a movie but I have a lot of movie with the same problem. XMM imports some actors from Allocine.fr and at a moment, it import the same actors a big number time. I don't have count the number but it's hundred and hundred time and for each movie so that's why I think, my database is so big...

Hi Cmaurice,

This is not normal, please use the function inside XMM to compact and repair databases (file menu).

if you have MS access open it with access and select compact and repair database from the tools menu. Im sure it will get fixed in the next version though
