Locks up when running Scripts.. IMDB...

I am having some issues with the IMDB scripts. I let it run on about 30 movies to 'update' and It is locking up the whole program in random places, not exactly sure why. I like the IMDB script cause it actually pulls the movies down properly. I also randomly get errors saying it can't download.

Not sure if IMDB has a timeout for access times?

Any idea why I keep locking up? I am using latest version and I ran all updates.

Also not sure if this is a bug, but I Am trying to overwrite some BAD information the scripts downloaded, I figured I would just hit under options "update only blank fields" I unchecked that box, but the BAD cover is still there and so is the bad movie name and information.

So I have to delete the BAD movie and retype it everytime to re-add it? There is no way I can just overwrite the 'bad' data?
I already reinstalled and did the restore option. Same issue.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for my late reply!

The problem of IMDB is related to time-out. Sometime no data arrives from IMDB server, this is why XMM give you this error.

I will try to add the possibility to "retry".

About the "overwriting" of old informations, I will take a look for possible bugs.

Thank you!

Alessio

I also get this error from time to time. Then you need to close import and start again (select movies etc)
A retry button when you get this error would be great.

Thanx!

I've the same problem.
It would be better an "auto retrey few times" option.

What about the issue where it won't overwrite the data in the database if I downloaded it from IMDB?
