Posted - 24 Apr 2006 : 20:19:30 First of all, XMM 5.1.7.0 is "almost" fine for me
Here is what I would need for a perfect version:
1) When a movie is imported or any other operation (like SAVE) performed, to an automatic refresh on the movie list. 2) Limit to 2 decimal places the file size (like in XMM 4.8, for example 699.52 instead of 699.5193) 3) Limit to 0 decimal places the length in minutes (again like in XMM 4.8, for exampl 89 instead of 89.1203) 4) Make the Export into (x)HTML-Database faster (it is still much slower than in XMM 4.8)

->From now you should see only one software in Add/Remove Programs Windows i still see version 5.1.1.0 and all future updates there (using windows xp pro german)
->Fixed a bug in "Clear Covers Not Linked to a Movie" Utility works better now as it adds no more pictures which were deleted in cover manager to the movies again, but it does not delete the pictures which are not linked to a movie in the database - i have 491 movies with only 1 picture but after cleaning i get 525 pictures (525before and after cleaning). i copied the pictures from 4.8 so there a some unused pictures in the folder. -> there still seemīs to be a bug left to find. perfect result would be to have only the pictures which are realy linked to the movies in the actual database.
ok now i decided to switch completely to version 5 because itīs gettin better very fast and many of the bugs which kept me from changing are fixed
-> great work! keep it on and xmm5 will get very very good :-)
major point i personaly would like to be included is to jump to movies in the treeview with typing more than one letter ;-) (i got used to this in xmm 4.8 and i like this way to select a movie)
