Posted - 18 Apr 2006 : 13:48:07 Not sure if this is a bug or if it's something wrong with my system. (Swedish XP Pro SP2)
I have problems with the dates in all my databases. (example, imported and new) If I change the date in Quick Edit View and then dubble click to open the Edit window, the date is 1900-01-01. It doesn't matter if I try to change the date in the Edit window.
Please look at the pictures for the error messages I get in the status bar. http://img136.imagevenue.com/img.php?loc=loc266&image=56629_problem1.jpg

I hope someone understand my problem as it's very difficult for me to explain.
Any help or suggestion is very much appreciated. |

Posted - 19 Apr 2006 : 15:53:12 Importing has a problem only when they database contains dates in to diffrent formats,
But this problem happens not with new movies. But when an Movie is modified.
First I set the date format in XMM to MM/DD/YYYY then I cleared all the dates from my old database then inported it. Everything had a date stamp of 19001010. I then made changes to a title and the lastmodified date stamp in the database is 20061804. However like Tjoakim picture showes XMM displays an error 13Conversion From String "18/04/2006" to type Date is not Valid. witch shows the date still trying to be converted using MM/DD/YYYY format.

Posted - 18 Apr 2006 : 19:47:17 Hi,
You have problem when you insert a new movie? or if you import movies from your old database?
Because for new movies should work correctly because XMM read your "window configuration" automatically.

Posted - 18 Apr 2006 : 18:34:01 Thank you lordkiwi! It looks fine after I changed the date format like you wrote.
But I'm used to the format yyyy-MM-dd. Watching the file & folder dates in Explorer with "US" format is just wrong for me..
I hope Alessio can fix this in XMM.
Thanks again! |

Posted - 18 Apr 2006 : 15:07:38 This happens when your Computers Date format is not set to DD/MM/YYYY in the control panel under the Region and Date Control Pannel. This realy causes Havok with XMM since an effected record will nolonger except new updates from magicscript properly
