Posted - 11 Apr 2006 : 03:37:51 I an now trying EMM 5.1.2, my first look at a 5.x EMM. It looks very nice. I am having a problem with some TV series that I had in an old 4.8 database. During the conversion it seems to have dropped all films (tv shows) that have an entry for Series Name but have no entry for Series Number. These seem to have just been dropped. All works well if it has a Season Number entered.
Is this reproduceable on your end?
Thanks
Steven

Posted - 18 Apr 2006 : 20:48:43 Hi Guys,
It's not a "bug", because in the old 4.8 database there wasn't the Episode Number (it was only writed in title), this is why in the Import you haven't this.
I suggest you to re-enter the TV Series from scratch in the new 5.x and import all informations from TV.COM.

Posted - 18 Apr 2006 : 20:14:36 I had the same problem and the way I got them into 5.1 was to export the missing films (series) as a csv file (leaving out the Series Name and Number) and import them to the new database. The problem with this of course is they are no longer in the TV Series section, only the films. Another point to watch is I tried to be clever and delete the TV Series and Number directly in the .mdb file with Access but this completely broke the database file and it was un-readable in 4.7 as well.
