Posted - 17 Apr 2006 : 09:28:00 Hi Krayziereportage,
Maybe my last email is get lost. I am sorry, but the second database is completely empty. There are more than 40000 entries, but all titles and informations are empty, so I have nothing to convert.
If you can find a old backup we can try to extract movies, but from the last one is not possible (you can take a look at it if you have Access).

Posted - 16 Apr 2006 : 19:49:53 Hi Alessio i had sent you 2 of them. You sent me one back. We were having trouble with one of them. You told me to sent it to you again. That was about 6 days ago and i havent heard from you since. If you remember it was the database that for some reason is showing there are over 40,000 movies with no info. Something got messed up when i converted it to 4.8 now i cant even get it to open because it is so big. You asked me to send it to you. So im just waiting to see if you can figure it the problem with it. |

Posted - 11 Apr 2006 : 08:40:31 Hi, I tried to import my database but the movies id numbers are not imported correctly. I use two counts. One from 1 to 10.000 for the dvd's with hard cover and one from 10000 and abobe for theese with soft cover. I have used numbers from 1 to 2170 movies from the first category and from 10000 to 10452 for the second. Unfortunatelly all the dvd's are imported with numbers from 2622 to 1 from last to first. Is something that i do wrong? Best regards from Greece Yiannis |

Posted - 10 Apr 2006 : 21:02:35 I did it yesterday but it didn't worked. Maybe the problem it's with the database, because I've deleted all the fields on the movies table and I've put letters as movie's name and still the program only inports the same 17 movies. |

Posted - 10 Apr 2006 : 11:38:23 No, you can do it. If you know MS Access a bit, you can open your database and delete all information about series (select the column and press cancel).
If you don't know how to do this, ZIP and send to me your database.
Bye!

Posted - 10 Apr 2006 : 00:49:20 So there is no way that I can use this new version of XMM without writing again all the movies in a new database? |

Posted - 09 Apr 2006 : 11:39:24 Hi!
For the database with 77 movies the problem is that you have used the Serie name. XMM "SEE" these movies like TV Series and doesn't import it.
For the other database, maybe you have 4 movies with the same problem as the first? Becaue it's strange that doesnt' import all movies.
Bye!

Posted - 09 Apr 2006 : 02:23:25 I'm having problems converting the database too. The program imports some movies and another not. In one of my databases only 17 of the 77 movies are imported. Maybe it's because the name I put to the movies :the name of the serie and the chapters on it in order to know where they are, but there are movies whose names aren't repeated and they not appear either. On my other database only 252 of my 256 movies are imported |

Posted - 08 Apr 2006 : 13:50:24 Alessio,
In regards to newest 5.1.1.0 (Beta 1).
Screen Ratio looks good from my custom MovieCard. Even my Flipper discs that have moth Wide / Standard made the import! However when I open a movie to edit the Screen Ratio field is empty. Strange, shows in the my MovieCard view but the actual field is empty.
The only other thing right now in regards to 4.8 import is the Dates. At the Import Screen I selected the option to Convert To Date Format. Maybe that was the problem. Everything except Modify Date seems to be set at 1/1/1900.
Thanks Alessio.
