Mathimid,

Great work.
Extra description tabs helps

I'm curious what additional data fields you would like added for the HTML Export?
I would like Movie Features, Subtitles, Codec, MPAA Rating.

The grid mode should have at least _Movie_Year_ added. What else?

I have more wishes in the matter of handling the export.

1.) Would be better, if the subgenres would be handled like a normal genre. That means: A movie has the genre "Comedy" and the subgenres "Action|Adventure". And the movie should appear on all three filter pages.

2.) Some kind of cascading variables for the filter pages could make thing much easier. e.g. for the grid view you have to build only the first row of the table and can use variables like _MOVIE_DETAIL_ _MOVIE_MPAA_ _MOVIE_LENGTH_ _MOVIE_COVER_ _MOVIE_YEAR_ and so on to choose wich informations you want to have in the table and the XMM uses the "template row" to build the complete table. The same way for the thumb view. Build just the "template field" which contains the desired informations and the XMM takes this template field to fill the thumb filter page. You know what i mean? Such a splitting could enhance the possibilities enormously.

Related to this it would make sense to have any variable available on any page if i need some filter commands on the detail pages...Why not? And vice versa in the variable cascade. e.g. _FILTER_TOTAL_ in the detail view could make the cookie obsolete.

Next addition to that...Would be great if the HTML export would also include an XML file which contains all informations including detail page links and cover links. (Like the regular XML export of the XMM, but the links are missing or incorrect yet.) This would open up the possibility to build a search function for the HTML files.

It seems that Ale will provide us more variables bit by bit. Like JDommy said...Why not implement all fields of the XMM as variables for the HTML export.

- Changed the color of the text from white to black when you hover a row

- The table in the grid view is sortable now by id, name, genre or seen. Simply click on the head of the column.

- If a field in the detail view is empty, the tab is hidden. Only the tabs with content are shown. The only exception of that is the plot tab, because it is the default tab when you load the detail page.

I believe your 9/9/2014 Detail template has a minor flaw:

The Cover Section:
<td height='400' colspan="2" align="center" valign="top" sizingMethod=scale>
<div id="cover">
<img border="0" src="_MOVIE_THUMB_" width="250" height="100%"><br><br>

You should remove the 'height=100%' because
Chrome and Opera will display the image 400 pixels high (100% of 400 pixels)
Firefox will correctly display the scaled imaged based on a width of 250.

Thanks alasystems,
I already did this a while ago, in one of my last updates. The one, which is on the server, didn't have that problem. But when an update of the XMM will installed, where an outdated version of my template is included, the files will be overwritten.
So...The one on dropbox didn't have this issue.

I believe the XMM is distributing an outdated version of your 'Custom' HTML Template. Mine came with a "_Detail.htm" file dated 4/17/2014 5:05am but I haven't checked the latest version of XMM.

The current version should have a "_Detail.htm" dated 9/12/2014 1:38am which matches your dropbox copy.

How can we categorize movies by country and maybe by director?

Hi,
Thank you. Filter by country, director or maybe actor is sadly not possible, because these filters are hardcoded html files and you need for every filter additional 2 html files (Thumbnail- & Grid-View). You can imagine, how many files this would be.
